Floral Preservation Services - Terms of Service

Service Overview:
Our floral preservation services involve the artistic preservation of flowers using resin. 
We specialise in preserving flowers for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and other significant events.

Acceptance of Terms:
 By engaging with our floral preservation services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Orders and Payments:
Orders are accepted through our website or in-person at our pop up locations, markets and events.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the preservation service.
Full payment is due upon completion of the preservation process.

1. Order Placement:
 Orders can be placed online through our website or in-person at our Markets / Expos / Pop up shops and alike.
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order placement to secure the service.
This means that if you do not go through with your booking you will not receive a refund, a store credit may be given at the discretion of mini murray and me.

2. Flower Submission:
 Clients are responsible for providing fresh and well-maintained flowers for preservation.
If your flowers are mouldy or dying when I receive them, that is what I will work with so please ship or get them to me quickly, I will in no way be responsible for how your flowers look once dried or set in resin.
All Flowers submitted to mini murray and me, will then become the property of mini murray and me, mini murray and me is free to use any excess flowers for promotional material when and where applicable. 
NO flowers will be given back to the client, even if there are left overs.

2a. Flower Drying:
All Flowers will dry differently - 
Red flowers will dry, red, burgundy or black.
Pink Flowers will dry either lighter or darker pink or brown.
White Flowers will dry, White, Creamy, Yellow or brown
Every single fresh flower will dry differently depending on many factors,
- How old are they? - How much water have they had? - How many people have touched them? Remember, the grower, the Picker, Your Florist amongst many others have touched your flowers before you even got them. 
-Have they been in the sun? - Have they been in the fridge? - Have the stems been trimmed daily? Etc..... Etc...
The final appearance depends on their condition upon arrival, as well as their original quality and colours. Not all florists and Farmers are the same. 
Please keep in mind that any bruising and damage will be enhanced once embedded into the resin. At the end of the day its the sentimental value that these flowers hold that triumphs over anything and everything else, the rest is just cosmetic.

3. Resin:
 All resins will naturally yellow over time, especially when exposed to direct sunlight.
The Resin I use contains anti - yellowing additives, Fantastic clarity and portrays a diamond like finish, However this will not stop the natural aging process causing the resin to yellow.

4. Artistic Discretion: 
The artistic process involves subjective interpretation of floral arrangements.
Clients trust our artistic discretion in creating unique and visually appealing preserved pieces.
There will be no going back and forth with designs or placements. 
If you wish to have an artistic involvement, regarding the design and or placement of your flowers you will be charged at an hourly rate, which will be added to your final invoice.

5. Turnaround Time:
The standard turnaround time for floral preservation is 6-9 Months from the date of flower submission.
This time will Vary during warmer and colder months with weather being a huge impact on the curing time.
Expedited services may be available at an additional cost.
Please note that I am and ALWAYS WILL BE mum first, my son is my number one priority, attending to his needs will always be PARAMOUNT. 
I also have ALL NSW SCHOOL HOLIDAYS OFF to be a present mum in my sons life and make all the memories I can while he is young. 

6. Quality Assurance: 
We take utmost care in preserving the quality and integrity of the flower preservations.
In the rare event of damage during the preservation process which doesn't involve the flowers themselves, we will make reasonable efforts to rectify the situation. 
Please note that all of products are HANDMADE, you will need to allow for imperfections.

7. Pricing and Payment:
All prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice.
Full payment is due upon completion of the floral preservation process.
No orders will be shipped or collected without full payment.

8. Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made 14 days prior to the scheduled preservation date may be eligible for a store credit. 
No refunds or credits will be provided for cancellations made once I have received your florals.

9. Shipping and Handling:
 Clients are responsible for shipping costs to and from our studio.
Shipping fees are subject to change at any given time without any notice.
Detailed shipping instructions and recommendations will be provided upon order confirmation.

10. Customer Satisfaction: 
We strive for customer satisfaction, and any concerns should be communicated within 48 hours of receiving the preserved piece.

11. Privacy Policy: 
Client information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
By engaging in our floral preservation services, clients agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined above. 
All Creations by mini murray and me are owned by mini murray and me, they are not subject to copywrite and can/will be used in its entirety for any publications that mini murray and me wish to do.
This includes but is not limited to any Photos, Documents, Badges, Tags, Names, or any personal items that have been supplied to mini murray and me to be used within Resin. Each item can and will be photographed and used for any and all promotional purposes.

12. Limitation of Liability:
 Our liability is limited to the cost of the preservation service.
We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages.

13. Governing Law:
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales
By engaging our floral preservation services, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms of service. 

The whole process takes around 6 months+ from start to finish. 
It is a bit faster in the warmer months, but in the Winter when it’s freezing cold and raining it takes so much longer. 

LOCATION

I’m in Campbelltown for local drop off, otherwise you can post to me Australia Wide.
I’ll explain how to post if you need postage, just contact me.

DEPOSITS

It’s a 50% deposit with the remaining due on completion. 
Once you have decided what you’d like I will send you a separate link for this.

CHEMICALLY DRYING

All flowers dry differently. 
EXAMPLE -
• A red rose may dry red, black, purple, deep red. 
• White flowers may dry, creamy, yellow, translucent, or brown.
• Pink flowers may dry, very pastel pink, deep dark pink, purple, creamy white translucent or brown.

RESIN

HOW WILL MY FLOWERS LOOK?

I will have no idea how any flowers will dry until it comes out of the drying solution. 

This is due to many factors. 
• How much water have they had ?
• How many people have touched them with their bare hands (oils from hands)?
• How old are they?
• Have they been in the sun?
• Have they been in the fridge?
• Have they been inside in the aircon / heater?
• Have they been trimmed daily and fed?  

Soooo many factors, but ultimately at the end of the day it’s all about the sentimental value that those flowers hold.

I also offer the purchase of Gift Cards which is a great gift for those getting married, or for a family member or friend who has lost a loved one.

Drop Off

My drop off location is in Campbelltown NSW 2560.
Once payment is made you can contact me for the exact address. You can then drop your flowers off at anytime.
There is a drop off zone, that has vases, water and tape so you can write your name on your flowers.

Postage

1. Select Fresh Flowers:

- If possible, use flowers that are as fresh as possible. Flowers with less wilting or browning will preserve better.

2. Prepare the Flowers: Remove excess water from the flower petals by lightly patting them with a dry paper towel. - Gently trim the stems if necessary.

3. Wrap the Flowers:

Wrap each flower separately in tissue paper or paper towels to protect the petals and prevent damage during transit.

- For larger arrangements, you can bundle flowers together, but ensure they are not crushed.

4. Place in a Sturdy Box:

Use a sturdy box with enough space to prevent squashing the flowers but not so big that they move around.

- Line the bottom of the box with soft padding like bubble wrap or shredded paper for cushioning.

- Place the wrapped flowers inside and fill any gaps with additional padding to prevent movement.

5. Label the Box Clearly:

Write “FRAGILE” on the outside of the box in big letters to alert postal workers.

6. Include Your Information:

Place a small note inside the box with your name, order number, and contact information.

- You can also mention any special requests for the preservation.

7. Send via Express Post:

- Opt for express or overnight shipping to ensure the flowers arrive as quickly as possible.

- Track the parcel if possible, and notify me when it has been sent so I can prepare to receive it.

- A photo
- A Charm
- Hair / Fur
- Ashes
- & MORE
All of my products are handmade, meaning every piece will be unique, individual and perfectly yours.
Small imperfections like microbubbles, uneven edges from the moulds, or tiny holes are completely normal.
These unique characteristics add to the charm of handmade creations and highlight their authenticity, setting them apart from mass-produced factory items.

How long does it take to preserve my flowers?

What if I'm not in Sydney?
That's ok, we can still preserve your flowers, we cater to all over Australia.

How many flowers do I need for a resin piece?

The number of flowers needed depends on the type of resin pieces you’re ordering and the size of your bouquet. Typically, an average-sized bouquet is enough to create one larger resin piece along with some smaller add-ons.

If you’re unsure whether you’ll have enough flowers, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to guide you!

What is a HIGH GLOSS finish?
I will carefully sand and polish your piece, and then apply a thick high-gloss topcoat to achieve a smooth, flawless finish with a stunning diamond-like shine. (would highly recommened to enhance your pieces).


What do you do with any flowers left over?

Once dried, I will chose the best flowers to go into your pieces, any left overs I may choose to make additional pieces which you can then choose to purchase if you wish - unfortunately no left over flowers can or will be returned to you.

Can i Preserve my flowers from many years ago?
Yes! of cause you can.

Can you preserve Artificial, Fake, Dried, or Silk Flowers?
Yes! they can all be done.

How do I look after the resin piece?

To keep your resin keepsakes looking their best, keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and UV damage. All my resin items are low maintenance and only require occasional dusting with a microfiber cloth. Avoid using any chemicals. Simply wipe with a microfiber cloth and clean water—it’s that easy!

Can you personalise my resin piece?
Yes! we can create a custom wooden plaque, that's personalised, that your resin piece can sit on.
